Zodiac Tome - 2024

Enter book arts - As a prerequisite for my master’s program I needed to take a painting class. There, I fell in love with book arts and casein paint. For my final project in the class, I learned a new hard back book bind technique and tested/made paints with varying textures to make my paintings more tactile (more sculptural). I loved the idea of creating a heavy duty tome-like book to show off my astrology thoughts and make illustrative art that felt personal to me but accessible to others.
